I was bitten by the Tube Radio Bug a few years ago. It was all innocent and apparently harmless, but now I have no choice but to make a sad admission: "My name is Manuel, and I am an addict".

The restoration of my grandfather's old Philips radio resulted in a series of repeat performances, now numbering in double figures, and taking up a huge amount of space in my study. These guys are not small!

Using pictures, descriptions and YouTube videos, I will endeavour to present these experiences here, for my own record, and for the enjoyment of fellow addicts.
